Two things are important:
How much Joy did we spread?
How much suffering did we ease?
(Everything else is what well-fed people do when they’re bored.)

The power of human community is overwhelming. It’s scary. It’s mighty. It can save us.

It isn’t necessary that we agree about everything to work together doing something.

You and I working together can accomplish great and mighty things for ourselves and our neighbors, if we choose to focus on that. This is a daily choice.

Stories and metaphor are requirements for understanding Life. Life’s too big to be accurate about without using metaphor. This is why humans began doing Art and Spirituality as soon as we were human. It’s central to the human experience.
